\nNot when its captivity
\nJoylessness
\nMy sinking heart
\nDefeatism
\nTo be apart<\/p>\n
AFrica where skies are blue
\nAnd the air is sweet
\nJust for the few
\nWho know the freedom
\nAnd can say
\nThey are free still everyday<\/p>\n
For me in Roma
\nWhat I do
\nIs sit in this cage
\nAnd must look through
\nThe heavy bars
\nThat hold me tight
\nPensively
\nI share the light<\/p>\n
They oppress my spirit
\nDepression comes
\nThe gravity
\nInside it numbs
\nIts so grim here
\nSo I have to stare
\nOutside myself
\nAnd there’s little there<\/p>\n
I am so downhearted
\nIn every way
\nCrestfallen cheesed off
\nAbout each day
\nBeing gawped at
\nI can stare
\nOut through the bars
\nTo anywhere<\/p>\n
No live food
\nNo hunting, no
\nI am wasting
\nI can’t glow
\nNot anymore cant feel the sun
\nSaddened when the day is done<\/p>\n
I languish in this hovel here
\nSuffering long bouts of fear
\nDisheartened such
\nDespondency
\nThat is really all I see
\nI am wasting away here
\nMy dampened spirits
\nI so fear<\/p>\n
Weeping quietly deep inside
\nBlubbering no place to hide
\nThe monotony the misery
\nBeing in Roma honestly
\nIts not like my home
\nNot at all
\nIts colourless
\nIt isn’t cool
\nI would give so much to be
\nBack home and just
