Our gatherings are increasing

\nThe trees are being logged away

\nCollectively we are suffering
\nSlash and burn is here

\nAs great swathes of life

So many repercussions
\nWe are on borrowed time
\nWe have no power at all it seems
\nNo longer can we climb
\nWeak and emasculated
\nUnnerved and neutered we
\nAre losing our homes daily
\nAlmost every tree<\/p>\n
Torn down crashed a’sunder
\nOur food cupboard is lost
\nIt is our undoing
\nA pulverizing cost
\nMassive vandalism
\nOn a gigantic scale
\nWe stare annihilation in the face
\nAnd join the trail<\/p>\n
Of wreckage and confusion
\nIts a cataclysmic war
\nOur lives being dismantled
\nLike they never were before
\nUprooted wiped out sabotaged
\nSubverted overthrown
\nOur world is disappearing
\nAnd we all feel alone<\/p>\n
The humans are coming closer
\nTheir cities rumbling loud
\nEverywhere the hubub
\nBehold each heavy cloud
\nOf smoke drifts down to swallow
\nTo choke us with such pain
\nThe bulldozers the machinery
\nIts all here once again<\/p>\n
Huddled in the litter
\nOur sluggishness on board
\nFeeling a paralysis
\nThere is no reward
\nThe ferment and the fury
\nThe destructiveness is here
\nThe heavy handed humans
\nWith their bad-ass kick-ass fear<\/p>\n
Emanating everywhere
\nIts excessive and its wrong
\nOur beautiful green jungles
\nWhere we all did belong
\nFull of song and colour
\nInvigoratingly
\nHelping with our life force
\nAnd its intensity<\/p>\n
And now its one great battlefield
\nSmoking everywhere
\nSo many victims crying
\nReally filthy air
\nThe moisture and the freshness
\nScorched by all the fire
\nThe landmass clearly wounded
\nAnd looking snd feeling dire<\/p>\n
All the bio-energy
\nThe animation we
\nFelt amongst the greenery
\nThe great activity
\nLost to suffocation
\nJudicial murder here
\nThe terminators
\nSacrificing
