New Zealand like so many places

\nHave to watch their greenhouse gas emissions

\nThat is causing climate change
\nAnd dairy cows are costly
\nRight across the range<\/p>\n
On the Aupouri Peninsular
\nDairies are thinking to
\nSell their farms to Avocado production
\nWhich will do
\nA lot of good things really
\nIt\u2019s a crop that does do well
\nAnd world wide is appreciated
\nAs far as I can tell<\/p>\n
It\u2019s rich in fatty acids
\nAnd potassium and grows
\nWell and there\u2019s a market
\nAnd everybody knows
\nAt present dairy cows
\nAmount to 4.8 million or so
\nBurping farting water guzzlers
\nCostly really so
\nEnvironmentally speaking
\nIt makes a lot of sense
\nAs less people want to
\nIndulge in bovine milk
\nAnd to commence
\nWith plant milks which are
\nCommonplace and popular today
\nSo it\u2019s altogether a good idea
\nTo try to do away<\/p>\n
With the dairy
\nWith the rape racks
\nAnd the kidnapping we see
\nThe murdering of baby calves
\nThe extended cruelty
\nThe use of antibiotics and hormones
\nEverywhere
\nAnd because they guzzle water
\nAgain we all must share<\/p>\n
A lot of responsibility
\nHumans after all
\nAs babies we are altricial
\nAnd really that\u2019s so cool
\nUngulates are precocial
\nThey are born
\nAnd they can see
\nThey can walk
\nThey need their mothers milk
\nBut are not like you and me<\/p>\n
The dairy has been telling fibs
\nFor many many years
\nHad the brontosaurus been around
\nCows would be in tears
\nNobody would be drinking their milk
\nFor asxwe know
\nIt\u2019s all about the profit
\nAnd the margin that does grow<\/p>\n
In all it is a great idea
\nTo stop this dairy thing
\nIt is very unhealthy
\nHearts out there will ring
\nThe changes and cholesterols
\nWill diminish by the day
\nHowever much you look at this
\nWe are not cows so no way<\/p>\n
Should we be using cows milk
\nIt\u2019s alien and we
\nHave also been causing global degradation
\nActually
\nSo good luck to all these farmers
\nWho have clearly seen the light
\nThey are giving up the dairy
