The Kings of the jungle
\nApparently they
\nGet so little respect anymore
\nWe can say
\nThe trade in their bones
\nIs a vindictive game
\nOf relentless spite
\nHow can we claim
\nTo be fair and humane
\nIn all that we do

\nAre clueless to
\nThe evils and morality
\nThat is about
\nIt\u2019s so inappropriate
\nHow people flout
\nAll of the laws
\nSuch parlous mischief
\nComplete criminality
\nBeyond belief<\/p>\n
Lions are all darted
\nAnd then they Are shot
\nThrough the ear never fear
\nBuyers are not
\nGoing to pay for smashed skulls
\nAre they, they
\nWant perfect bone structure
\nIf they are to pay<\/p>\n
Overseas buyers want top quality
\nThey buy into tiger bones
\nIt\u2019s what they see
\nWith curative properties
\nFit for the rich
\nThe marketeers clearly
\nAre sound with their pitch<\/p>\n
If the truth be known
\nTiger bones tiger cake
\nAre the medicine products
\nLion bones are a fake
\nTaking advantage of shortages they
\nSubstitute Lions bones
\nAnd turtle and may
\nSubstitute monkey bones
\nThat\u2019s what they do and if you can get it
\nTheir dreams all come true<\/p>\n
The victims of course are the lions
\nKings no more
\nCaged up and victimised
\nFor them it\u2019s war
\nCanned bunting targets
\nOr destined to be
\nExported as tiger
\nSent illicitly<\/p>\n
From the start to the finish
\nIt\u2019s criminals who
\nLie to each other
\nWhatever they do
\nAs cubs removed from their mothers
\nTo be
\nPetted by volunteers
\nComing to see<\/p>\n
Conned by the ethic
\nMorals all shot
\nAway by the criminals
\nAnd there\u2019s a lot
\nTo be made and it\u2019s happening
\nDay in and day out
\nLeaving all of the parties
