\nFrom 6 to six
\nIn a raging heat
\nWith spade
\n and picks
\nNicholas Muchemi
\nA labourer he
\nRebuilt a road
\nDiligently<\/p>\n
It seems a landowner
\nDecided that they
\nThe people were using his land
\nAnd did say
\nI must block it off
\nFind another way
\nDown to the store

They lived on a hill
\nThe shops down below
\nThe church and the school
\nAnd the way to go
\nWas now so much longer
\nSo what Nicholas thought
\nWas he would build the road
\nAnd it wasnt that short<\/p>\n
At least kilometre in the hot sun
\nIn Kaganda Kenya
\nAnd when That was done
\nHe knew How important
\nIts was and so he
\nIs thought about well
\nIn the community<\/p>\n
Its was his assignment
\nHis labour of love
\nA valiant effort
\nSeen from above
\nA real pioneer
\nIn a go ahead way
\nTo just make a difference
\nStarting from the day<\/p>\n
They now need to gravel it
\nThat can be done
\nThe struggle was worth it
\nAnd it was fun
\nIt got him involved
\nUnder the sun
\nA deep understanding
\nAn expression of care
\nAn all their effusiveness
\nHe felt it there<\/p>\n
I mean its impressive
\nAnd dignified
\nOne man on his own
\nHis dramatic side
\nOn show to the world
\nReaching across the sea
\nVia the internet
\nWhere its reached me<\/p>\n
