Tourism seems to bring out
\nThe worst in many a soul
\nIn Egypt what the handlers do
\nProve they have lost control
\nTheir unruliness is awful
\nTheir savage brutal ways
\nExtra heavy handed
\nImagining it pays<\/p>\n
Camels those great desert
\nAngels
\nWho traverse far and wide
\nTake the sand and bear the heat
\nAnd oft provide a ride
\nWho often feel vulgarity
\nAnd naivete as well
\nTactless obtuse handlers
\nMost were trained in Hell<\/p>\n
They are whipped
\nAnd often beaten
\nAround their testicles we hear
\nOften foaming at the mouth
\nBleeding from to ear
\nSuffering terrible abuse
\nJust so tourists can
\nRide past the famous pyramids
\nMaking selfies man to man<\/p>\n
Parochial decisions
\nThey have a one tracked mind
\nThinking about money
\nFor them it\u2019s underlined
\nBut clearly they are unbalanced
\nTo torture as the do
\nTo take it out on the animals
\nWho They are so clueless to<\/p>\n
The realisation
\nThe incredulity
\nThey don\u2019t have the capacity
\nTo really see it through
\nTheir backwardness leads clearly
\nTo what is actually abuse
\nCruelty and Infamy
\nThe kill their golden goose<\/p>\n
And it\u2019s all put down to arrogance
\nFor the camels they can beat
\nWhen they have all been tortured
\noften on the street
\nThey fall and then they are murdered
\nThroats cut they drift away
\nWorked to death take their last breath
\nfor such a life they pay<\/p>\n
As tourists we must show empathy
\nRealise that they
\nAre being abused they slave along
\nIn the hot sun every day
\nBeaten for their exercise
\nThreatened for their pain
\nThe handlers incompetence
\nClearly cannot gain<\/p>\n
Even an ounce of true respect
\nno expectation here
\nThey work the animals day and night
\nAnd do so in such fear
\nOf being brutally handled
\nTorture is their thing
\nThe tourists are the reason
\nAnd many with their bling<\/p>\n
Ride upon the animal
\nBedecked in scars and pain
\nOften bleeding from the nose
\nIt gets harder to regain
\nA semblance of true consciousness
\nAs the torture carries on
\nThe handlers go beyond decency
\nFor tourism a con<\/p>\n
