Their obnoxiousness and morbidity

\nOf unwillingness to be
\nUnderstanding and responsive

Well intentioned
\nAnd well wishing
\nOut of kindness to be sure

Grinding a soul down
\nUnder house arrest
\nUnder the threat of incarceration
\nHopeful that you’d test
\nThe spirit and devotion
\nOf a journalist who published
\nWar criminality
\non a terrifying scale

And because of that
\nHe is summoned
\nThreatened and made to be
\nA victim of the evil
\nPure malignancy
\nCallousness and severity

Despite your myriad churches
