Wildness cannot comprehend
\nThe multi coloured balloon
\nWe abuse so much of Nature
\nWith them the misfortune
\nThat kind of stretchability
\nAnd many coloured hues
\nBouncy and resilient
\nThey really are bad news<\/p>\n
Releasing them as many do
\nWill send them high above
\nUp to some 40 thousands feet
\nTo freeze and fall
\nNo love
\nCreated as they break
\nUp and their slivers are
\nDeposited about the earth

Wild life sees them
\nFish or reptile birds
\nUpon the wing
\nMammals see them possibly

\nOr sicken As animals may play<\/p>\n
Some are made of mylar
\nMetalised as well
\nThey are really toxic
\nCreating their own hell
\nFor birds and even mammals

On a toxic shock or a strangulated bowel
\nThe pigments and the fixatives
\nAnd strings may fool the fowl
\nSold to us as joyful things
\nTo ungulates they may
\nCause unbelievable colic

We have to be more mindful
\nWhat we release into the sky
\nWhere it goes what happens

\nInto its great big belly
\nCetaceans all around the globe
\nAre beaching far and wide
\nTheir bellies full of plastic
\nTheir option suicide<\/p>\n
Those party shops and
\nBalloons on string
\nWe buy to bring folk joy
\nYou often see them flailing in the wind
\nWill they annoy
\nSomeone stuck up in a tree
\nOr floating on some lake
\nWe must be more mindful
