There is tumult and ferment
\nIn those hills I have to say
\nThe cowards are out there
\nLaying traps
\nAnd catching wolves who prey
\nOn Elk and Deer for sustenance
\nFeral enchantment comes
\nFrom frontiers so created
\nFrom the beating of their drums
\nThe arrogance of man unkind
\nOf those whose ignorance reigns
\nWho fought hard for the entitlement
\nTo put the wolves in chains
\nTo fight the great Elks corner
\nAnd force the law to see
\nThat hunting ELK and Deer
\nMeant more than the wolves
\nDiversity<\/p>\n
Its the madness of disorder
\nThe bedlam of the breed
\nThe scattering of subversives
\nWho imagine that they lead
\nThe challenge of the mighty
\nAgainst the feral soul
\nThe wolves who won their glory
\nTheir intelligible control
\nWhat we see is so shambolic
\nEntangled in desire
\nNot to save the environment
\nBut to light the lawless fire
\nExpecting to be paid
\nFor carrying out extermination
\nOf the wolves who really
\nAre Montana’s honest and real salvation<\/p>\n
Using strong arm tactics
\nBrutality and force
\nAmbushing our precious friends
\nWho came to us from source
\nCreated by almighty
\nTo add their intensity
\nTo improving the Elk Nation
\nAnd the wildness which is key
\nMan takes on a feral role
\nThe trapper\/hunter he
\nBreaks the links weakens the chain
\nAnd thinks that he can be
\nThe predator ahead now
\nOf the wolf packs in the hills
\nHis arrogance overwhelms him
\nAnd just gives me the chills<\/p>\n
Seeing all those bodies
\nOf predators at their feet
\nThe destructiveness the rumpus
\nNothing is discreet
\nAbout the roughshod violence
\nInflicted on us all
\nMurdering the wolves
\nLike this is the main work of the fool
\nWho lack the capability
\nTheir impulse just to kill
\nThe magick of creation
\nWithin the wolf is still
\nThey are the inspiration
\nThe wheels within the wheels
\nAnd slaughtering for a bounty
\nThey know now how that feels
\nTheir ignorance a weakness
\nTheir arrogance all know
\nThey go about like rulers
\nVulnerable and grow
\nResponsible for little
\nExcept the killing spree
\nWhere there is no concensus
\nNor accountablity<\/p>\n
Anubis in the background
\nGlaring from the sky
\nWatching the insolent trappers
\nTheir leg hold traps defy
\nThey murder and they torture
\nThe wondrous wolves who be
\nEntitled to those that weaken
\nOf the great Elk Family
\nHunters mostly men of little
\nInfluence abroad
\nBehind a rifle they lay in wait
\nThe curse of due reward
\nTaking out the fittest the biggest
\nThey can find
