Captivity sucks
\nFor all wild creatures who
\nAre subjugated
\nTheir whole life times through
\nThrown into circus
\nA torment refrain
\nDissatisfaction
\nDespair and disdain<\/p>\n
Anguished and maltreated
\nHarassed and made
\nTo do stupid tricks
\nThe whole circus parade
\nAn audience gasping
\nAt our vulgarity
\nUncultured boorishness
\nThats what they see<\/p>\n
As lions we are wild
\nWe are fearless and bold
\nThe audacious display
\nIn abuse we are rolled
\nMade to feel foolish
\nIn so many ways
\nOur noble descent
\nAnd that ugly phase<\/p>\n
Its very unseemly
\nTo put our power down
\nWe choose to let you
\nClean up tHe town
\nIts all smoke and mirrors
\nAbuse all the way
\nThere is no amusement

So we fight back

\nThe dishonesty
\nWe do what we do

\nCaged up all day
\nSworn at and beaten

We hope that our teeth marks

\nThat our molars will
\nFester and that you will pay
\nMore attention to our wildness
\nNot leave us be
\nAllowed to do our thing

You are the wicked ones
\nFlagrant abuse
\nYour amorality
\nWhere is a noose

Takes over the show

\nA powerhouse of perils

The circus is cruel

\nWe are the victims
