We exist in actuality
\nUndeniably
\nEnduring and well grounded
\nFlesh and blood
\nWe be
\nAnimals
\nThat human beings
\nUse captivity
\nFear and farming methods
\nAs a philosophy<\/p>\n
Together we all represent
\nThe Meat Trade YES on show
\nYou bring your children
\nTo pet us, and, aome of you know
\nWe have been shipped to where ever
\nBy truck some a long way
\nThrown in and neither fed nor watered
\nProbably all day<\/p>\n
Put in open pens of straw
\nTied up to the bars
\nUnder a hot sun perhaps
\nAnd we are seeing atars
\nFear has really got to us
\nThe noises all about
\nAnd all the many people
\nLeaving us in doubt<\/p>\n
Breathing isnt easy
\nWe are fearful you can see
\nCows are overheating
\nDonkeys too they be
\nTied up very painfully
\nAnd sheep are tied up too
\nAnd children come and punch and pull
\nAnd torment yes they do<\/p>\n
We are living beings
\nOur constitution sure
\nWe have hearts and minds like you
\nAnd truly we abhor
\nAny form of captivity
\nAnd non fulfilment we
\nOfcourse embrace the positive
\nBut your negativity<\/p>\n
We want to be excluded
\nRepressed as we all are
\nLeft in a chaotic state
\nConfused for you do scar
\nOur being in so many ways
\nYouthful is our lot
\nHaving to undergo such torture
\nAnd a continued plot<\/p>\n
Its all about productivity
\nAnd how we all must grow
\nWe have no fields to walk in
\nJust concrete sheds we know
\nThe chemicals you dose us with
\nAnd the drugs too have to be
\nEaten and the water too
\ntreated chemically<\/p>\n
We all face the vehemence
\nThe roughhouse treatment we
\nAre guinea pigs in many ways
\nA lot of brutality
\nWe are chiefly females
\nHaving to undergo
\nRape kidnap and slaughter
\nAnd hormones to make us grow<\/p>\n
There is no moderation
\nIts stress all of our days
\nThats our vulnerability
\nRelocation bays
\nAnd great huge trucks
\nLive export maybe so
\nOr transfer to some abattoir
\nWhere death comes as you know<\/p>\n
Religion plays a big part
\nHalal and kosher where
\nThey just slash our throat away
\nAnd we bleed out, the despair
\nNo stunning just one moment
\nAlive and feeling well
\nAnd a huge knife comes across ones neck
\nAnd ofcourse you enter HELL<\/p>\n
THis is what our world has come to
\nThis is what you do
\nTake us to these market places
\nSo we are on view
\nTouched and kicked and petted
\nAnd stared at every day
\nThen shipped off to some death house
\nTo be murdered right a way<\/p>\n
At arrival the revulsion
\nIts repellant to be
\nForced down chutes to meet ones death
\nWith electrodes painfully
\nSticking into our backs
\nWe are made to run and be
\nIn the mood for murder
\nMurder painfully<\/p>\n
We can hear the screaming
\nWe can smell the fear
\nWe all would wish to now escape
\nTo just getbout from here
\nBut we are all your prisoners
\nReady for the chop
\nReady to be tortured
\nWhen the truck does stop<\/p>\n
Animal life the human way
\nIs awful in the extreme
\nAll of our bio energy
\nOur allotted span a dream
\nWe have an inborn viableness
\nWhich is taken away by you
\nBecause you want to fill your guts
\nWith us we know thats true<\/p>\n
Chomp down on our muscles
\nOur eyes balls and our backside
\nIt is made into sausages
\nWith eggs all you denied
\nThat you eat all our smelly bits
\nBut actually you do
\nThe butchers and the markets
\nThey feed us all to you<\/p>\n
It is the greater holocaust
\nAnd it happens every day
\nGassing
\nslicing through our throats
\nCutting our trachea away
\nRemoving our legs before we are dead
\nThat is what you do
\nLeave us hanging bleeding out
\nWhat an abyssmal crew<\/p>\n
The agricultural show
\nBring the kids they say
\nCome see the sacrificial lambs
\nYes do come today
\nProd and kick and pull their skin
\nMake them realise
