\nMindful meats they call
\nA place of such destruction
\nThe need to overhaul
\nExactly what they do there
\nWhat is obscenity
\nThe slaughter of young veal calves
\nAnd their mothers tragically<\/p>\n
Here in Sonoma County
\nWhere the sun shines every day
\nWhere carnivores they do appease
\nBy just trying to say
\nThat what goes on behind closed doors
\nIs excessive and is cruel
\nBarbaric and uncivilized
\nAnd really gives me fuel<\/p>\n
That burns into my heart itself
\nThe tactlessness that be
\nAbusing not just the animals
\nBut those of us who see
\nThe words up on the outside wall
\nMaking out inside
\nAll thats done is beautiful
\nHow HELL is denied<\/p>\n
Its preposterous behaviour
\nTrying to make out
\nThat murdering sweet animals
\nLeaves nobody in any doubt
\nThat doing it commercially
\nIs a monstrous thing to do
\nAnd making out it is wonderful
\nIs hopeless and untrue<\/p>\n
The Meat Trade is the murder trade
\nWhere killers do reside
\nAnimals forced to knuckle down
\nAs slaughterman provide
\nDeath in all its horror
\nFormidable and wrong
\nGruesome and intimidating
\nWhich doesnt belong<\/p>\n
Anywhere thats mindful
\nMindless certainly
\nSeeing a man with a sledgehammer
\nAnd a female cow who be
\nWaiting her convictions
\nWaiting for the crash
\nThe insouciance of the murderer
\nDoesnt he feel flash<\/p>\n
His irreverence his dishonour
\nWhat is a burning shame
\nDespicable behaviour
\nAnd to think this company claim
\nMindfulness apparent
\nSome nobility
\nA better reputation
\nInverted snobbery<\/p>\n
It sickens me to see this
\nThe cow awaiting death
\nShe knows her life is over
\nShe will fight for breath
\nThere will be no climb down
\nOnly a crushing retort
\nThe slaughterhouse of
\nBlood and guts
\nWhere no one gives a thought<\/p>\n
For anything remarkable
\nShe will be upstaged
\nBy the low life whose plug ugly
\nProbably he is waged
\nEarning just a pittance
\nDoing the dirty deeds
\nOf the corporatocracy
\nWhose management succeeds<\/p>\n
Its up to us to realise
\nThe vegan dietary call
\nTo stop theseg evil goings on

\nThe obscene and filthy practices
\nOf murder in plain sight
\nOf flagrancy and heinousness
