Realness actuality
\nA perpetual indestructable
\nRoad to nowhere
\nHard underfoot
\nWhere flesh and blood
\nIs often put<\/p>\n
Endurance in the light of day
\nEmotionally where ere I stray
\nA fictitious land of destiny
\nWhere together we can never be
\ninstead the hills that I must climb
\nAnd muscle weary pass the time
\nFeel my marrow taut and seering
\nIn the heat where those now sneearing
\nToss a brick and hope that I
\nMay falter underneath the sky<\/p>\n
Oh beast of burden bearing heavy
\nBricks and mortar on a back
\nTired and sore from the exertion
\nAlways on some dusty track
\nLittle water for my dry throat
\nWracked and sore under the sun
\nVery little compensation
\nFor the concentration done<\/p>\n
Having the integrity
\nTo be about my work each day
\nBeing beaten by the dozen lashes
\nAlways made to pay
\nUnpredictablity
\nStaying power an driving force
\nBlood and sweat
\nand drive and vigour
\nDynamism from tHe source<\/p>\n
Disabled and incapacitated
\nTotter teeter stagger sway
\nThese are qualities I offer
\nTo the damsel every day
\nVulnerable perhaps decrepit
\nStruggling on despite the height
\nFertile is the spawning mind
\nLuxuriant with lots of light<\/p>\n
All the while such cogitation
\nThoughtfulness and couplets coming
\nWhere for art their pondering prose
\nPerceptions of my inner numbing
\nAnd awareness where it goes
\nIn the Barn at night i ponder
\nVerse a plenty on my ear
\nAt work all day and very hard too
\nBut still a sage I think I hear<\/p>\n
A soundness and a sense of being
\nAll seeing on this rocky climb
\nInventiveness and a preoccupation
\nIn tranquility and rhyme
\nAll the bricks that were ever carried
\nOr thrown at me
\nOn ridges high
\nThat hit home and wounds were apparent
