Donkeys are social animals
\nPeace loving one can say
\nDomesticaled members of the Horse
\nOr Equidae
\nIn China donkey hide is used
\nIts soaked and stewed to make
\nA gelatine as a medicine
\n“EJIAO” comes as a cake<\/p>\n
A three billion dollar
\nPartnership
\nIts the foreign exchange
\nAnd donkey meat is selling too
\nRight across the range
\nMeat eating its protein
\nAnd markets feel the need
\nTo supplement their rice and vegetables
\nHoping it will lead<\/p>\n
To an increase in the trading
\nRight across the board
\nDonkey is a meat that
\nMost still can afford
\nAs China grows its population
\nNeeds a lot more meat
\nAnd Donkey provides two aspects
\nAnd a way of providing heat<\/p>\n
The Donkey is exceptional
\nIn that it works so hard
\nAnd now it becomes a commodity
\nIts evolution scarred
\nI do feel very sorry
\nFor animals that slave
\nAnd when retired
\nAre eaten
\nFor me thats very grave<\/p>\n
Humanity overides Nature
\nIn a despicable way
\nPlaces a curse
\nOn a beautiful soul
\nAnd forces it to pay
\nA high price for existence
\nIt so wholly unfair
\nIt never gets put out to grass
\nAnd so to be aware<\/p>\n
Of this its rather like
\nThe cows
\nTortured all their lives
\nAnd murdered at the end of it
\nWhen hardly one survives<\/p>\n
