\nThe study relating to the kangaroos
\nIn the way of the building at the Paramount Estate
\nWhich clearly for the developers is bad news
\nOpening up the bush lands laying concrete
\nSemi rural living is the thing
\nAnd Spatial are clearly building houses
\nAnd the wild life clearly seeing them
\nDoes bring
\nA certain je ne sais quoi
\nFor Kangaroos are wild
\nBut if they only could be shot
\nIt could all be reconciled
\nWe could then develop more
\nCull is the word they use
\nActually its murder mate
\nAnd thats just awful news!<\/p>\n
For zoologists and ecologists
\nTo believe that murdering souls
\nIs good because they are in the way
\nOf development new roles
\nTo me is somewhat edgy
\nPeople should desire
\nSemi rural locations
\nAnd share somehow, I tire
\nOf those that want it both ways
\nWild life just on tap
\nWhen you choose to see it
\nIts there
\nAll this is crap!<\/p>\n
Don’t move into the semi rural areas
\nI say
\nStop building laying down the concrete
\nOr its true we pay
\nAnd already at the car park
\nA sink hole has become
\nA problem and more problems
\nYes they will see some<\/p>\n
Nature is a miracle worker
\nThe environments create
\nLife forms and to murder them
\nAt an alarming rate
\nAnd eat them eat the wild life
\nIs just going too far
\nIts unbalanced its so selfish
\nTo rape and literally scar<\/p>\n
The bush lands all those creatures
\nThe footprints from before
\nWild souls we are not aware of
\nPerish as we ignore
\nHuman beings need to be humane
\nIn what they do
\nAnd for spatial to have wanted
\nTo shoot them yes its true
\nShoot on site blokes with rifles
\nGood job someone said
\nLeave the bloody Roo’s alone
\nOnce they are dead they are dead<\/p>\n
AUstralia has to come to terms
\nWith its situation here
\nSemi rural habitats
\nMust not be huge its clear
\nShare and share alike
\nRural has to be
\nEqual for the wild life
\nAnd the housing thats the key<\/p>\n
Stretching towns into the bush
\nAnd expecting them to grow
\nAnd murder all the wild life
\nAll the natural flow
\nOf life install the arrogance
\nThe city wallers sense
\nOf killing off the wildlife
\nMaking then past tense<\/p>\n
Then putting up a concrete zoo
\nWith wild souls in their cages
\nMoney grabbing prison farms
\nWe have seen them down the ages
\nManipulating animals moving them away
\nFrom where we can then walk our dogs
\nAnd let our children play.<\/p>\n
But then what of the snakes and spiders
\nGoannas and the rest
\nCrocs and all the other nasties
\nYes they are going to test
\nAll the human city dwellers
\nPossibly thats so
\nBut gradually with pest control
\nAt work they all will go<\/p>\n
And then ofcourse its bumans
\nKilling each other there
\nBut then the words not culling
\nIts killing its despair
\nAs the homes become more dusty
\nThen the people will agree
\nHow Australia has sunk in terms
\nOf its biodiversity<\/p>\n
Next poem wil be about the Canberra cull
\nAnd how the ACT Supreme court jusge has ruled it to be
\nUnlawful in 2015
