Strutting in our various silks
\nProud as peacocks we
\nStab and poke and torture
\nA majestic bull who be
\nAlready primed and ready
\nTortured to the hilt
\nSuffering and hurting
\nFrom the blood already spilt<\/p>\n
Wounded he in trauma
\nLesions everywhere
\nReally feels the worse for wear
\nWrapped up in his own despair
\nThe audience warped and twisted
\nDeteriorating too
\nBacksliding into evil
\nCorrupted by the view<\/p>\n

\nUse ribbons and bulls they never die

There is no leg to stand on
\nWe have moved on long ago
\nWe do not want this vile abuse
\nIts continuance the show
\nMust go on its past its sell by date
\nIts a scourge’ and an affliction we
\nShould stop this imposition
\nOf it we should break free<\/p>\n
The animals are vulnerable
\nUndefended and alone
\nHelpless and unguarded
\nShaking to the bone
\nThey feel the intimidation
\nThe warning all around
\nThe baying crowd of weirdo’s
\nAnd their awesome sound<\/p>\n
Its the misuse of a miracle
\nCreation put before
\nIt is abuse its cruelty
\nConducting a war
\nUpon an innocent victim
\nWho has no need to be
\nFighting there
\nOr dying there
\nIts truly infamy<\/p>\n
On the face of it its dangerous
\nAnd matadaors can be
\nHurt and killed we know that
\nBut its still a travesty
\nIt really is a shambles
\nIt is wholly unfair
\nThe bull has been so tortured
\nAnd is so aware<\/p>\n
Hindered by impediment
\nSabotaged infact
\nBurdened by the torture
\nWondering to react
\nHampered by existing pain
\nEntangled in it all
\nAnd up against disharmony
\nAnd hatred as a rule<\/p>\n
My plea to would be judges
\nThis so called cultural sphere
\nIs insulting and it challenges
\nDecency its clear
\nWe have all moved on to better things
\nAnd dredging up the past
