All us Tabbies Gingers
\nSiamese Abyssinians we
\nAre waiting tummies rumbling
\nOn the old brick quay
\nThe fishing boats
\nWill hopefully come back laden
\nThey
\nAlways throw some scraps at us
\nWhich clearly makes our day<\/p>\n
They gut some at the waters edge
\nAnd thats when we can eat
\nFresh not mucked about or frozen
\nIts like being the elite
\nHaving really all sorts
\nEven the expensive kinds
\nOtherwise at home out of those tins
\nIt blows our minds<\/p>\n
Have you ever stopped to think
\nCat food in those cans
\nTheres hardly any fish in them
\nRendered why no bans?
\nCereals and chemicals
\nAnd stuff we so not eat
\nIn pretty tins with labels
\nBut far from complete<\/p>\n
And so we live close to the sea
\nAnd sit here everyday
\nWaiting for the fishing boats
\nAnd, dont have to pay
\nWe can chew on mackerel
\nWe can chew on plaice
\nWe can chew on a dab or two
\nOr an eel or crab at a pace<\/p>\n
Whiting even dog fish
\nWe can eat real well
\nIts great to live beside the sea
\nI advise you for a spell
\nFresh fish some still wriggling
\nThats the fish to try
\nNot this frozen farmed muck
\nWith no taste by and by<\/p>\n
So here we are together
\nSitting on the quay
\nAll our hearts are pumping
\nAnd our stomachs do they be
\nRumbling like the thunder
\nIts great to go a day
\nWithout that awful tinned food
