\n2-5 week old, they
\nNot even weaned yet
\nHaving to stay<\/p>\n
In a truck, bound for Ramsgate
\nLeaving 7.am
\nOn thursday morning
\nThe dread as they cram
\nUs together
\nNo respect for us
\nAnd little Regard
\nOf what is our timidity
\nIt is so hard
\nAnd Terribly frightening
\nUncomfortably cold
\nFrom Scotland to Ramsgate
\nWe are being sold
\nTo Spain of all places
\nTo be eaten as veal
\nArriving at 5.30
\nIn Ramsgate for real<\/p>\n
All of that time on our aching feet
\nThe distrust
\nAngsty and jittery
\nBreathless we must
\nBe in trepidation
\nBabies we be
\nAnd the ship cannot sail
\nit cannot leave the quay<\/p>\n
Transported to a lairage
\nAnd off loaded there
\nIts a hideous story
\nAnd we feel the despair
\nOn Friday evening
\nLoaded again
\nAnd expected to sail
\nAt 11 pm An insane
\ntime
\nAll this waiting
\nAs nervous as hell
\nMind-bogglingly awful
\nAt midnight they tell
\nThe JOLINE leaves Ramsgate
\nBut our journey stalls
\nWith us all Crammed on deck
\nThe transitting rules
\nBroken, ofcourse 9 hours
\nWithout feed
\nWe are all babies
\nFor goodness sake
\nWhere does this lead?<\/p>\n
Live exports are ominous
\nIntimidating and we
\nWho experience it all
\nAlone on the sea
\n2-5 week olds stranded
\nIts HELL
\nIts total abuse
\nAnd In a rolling swell!<\/p>\n
Cold winter weather
\nWe are Frightened like mad
\nBabies just babies
\nOfcourse this is bad
\nDEFRA Is supposedly
\nOverseeing it all
\nHow can they sleep at night
\nWe have no one to call<\/p>\n
It is so unnerving
\nWe are petrified
\nIt makes our flesh creep
\nThis inglorious ride
\nTo our deaths we are angels
\nDestined for Spain
\nVia Calais the whole bloody
\nShipment insane<\/p>\n
Its ludicrousness
\nIts a monstrous idea
\nHave you no compassion
\nIts unrefined fear
\nIts tawdry its grossness
\nIts hard to believe
\nThat DEFRA could possible
\nThink they achieve<\/p>\n
Anything other than
\nShameless intent
\nYou act with such courseness
\nOur short lives mis spent
\nSuffering heartache
\nAnguish and pain
\nWe do feel as martyrs would
\nLike Going insane<\/p>\n
The roll of the swell
\nThe fear and the cold
\nNot having eaten
\nJust being rolled
\nAbout and together
\nImagine it all
\nAbsolute purgatory
\nit does so appal<\/p>\n
A vulgar anathema
\nA total insult
\nChagrin and fretting
\nThats the result
\nI cry in my stomach
\nFor each of us they
\nBabies still wrenched from their mothers
\nDismay
\nTearful and shocking
\nA great tale of woe
\nDown trodden babies
\nWith no where to go<\/p>\n
This is our life
\nWhat we should do
\nAll this long suffering
\nHaggard its true
\nDespairing and heart broken
\nWithout relief
\nThis is live exports
\nAnd is beyond belief<\/p>\n
From Scotland to Ramsgate
\nTo Calais to SPain
\nThis is a voyage
\nTo make babies insane
\nTbis is a horror
\nThis is such strain
\nAnd DEFRA and all of the rest
\nOur disdain
\nGrows by the shipment
\nIts wholly unfair
\nAnd if you dont stop this
\nWhen you are made aware<\/p>\n
Then you are as bad
\nAs you ever can be
\nAnd creation and karma
\nForever will be
\nAt odds
\nWith your gods
\nIf you ignore our plea<\/p>\n
