Its like everything upon the earth
\nThe trees the soil the air
\nThe gas the minerals the ocean
\nAll this stuff we share
\nWe take too much of everything
\nIt is sold to us and we
\nBuy and buy asking ourselves why
\nBecause we need to see<\/p>\n
Ourselves in something new each day
\nFashionable and right
\nAnd what about the stuff that we bought yesterday
\nThe fight
\nTo stay ahead in every way
\nBreeds waste and we can see
\nEveryone has great big bins
\nWhich they fill up constantly<\/p>\n
Shops are closing on the high street
\nOn line shops now be
\nThe answer we can order them on line
\nDont have to see
\nStuff in the shop windows
\nNot when we can stay
\nSitting on our arses
\nOrdering on line all day<\/p>\n
Most of it imported
\nForget the
\nGreat EU
\nMost comes in from China
\nWhere its cheaper where they do
\nAdd to global warming
\nWith their industry alight
\nPoor wages down the ages
\nAnd environmental blight<\/p>\n
How many bottles of vino
\nDo we gulp down every week
\nHow many splifs are people smoking

\nA better life than the one they lead

\nHave countryside and hills and dales

But we are undecided

Trees are being cut down

Local councils the police force
\nThe courts system all be
\nCorporate all working hand in glove
\nPosterity
\nIs left behind, the planet
\nIs suffering like mad
\nWaste we are producing it
\nAnd it makes me sad<\/p>\n
Drive up any motorway
\nOr by-pass and you see
\nSo much rubbish the third world
\nIt looks like it could be
\nBut its the great stockbroker belt
\nThe mansions and the green
\nAnd in London town the crime rates
\nThere never has ever been<\/p>\n
Really worse statistics
\nEverywhere we go
\nThe air is getting bleaker
\nAs the trees come down we know
\nAir quality is awful
\nTake aways they grow
\nEverywhere the crappy food
\nIs so much now on show<\/p>\n
Full of fat and sugar
\nFull of meat and blood
\nWaste of life is evident
\nThere now is a flood
\nOf ugliness and horror
\nIts everywhere we look

We are on line we see videos

We are in our cages
\nConstructed out of waste
\nEating really awful food
\nIf only it was faced
