Singing birds and animation
\nHelp us see their real salvation
\nYoung and clearly so afraid
\nOn their tired worn backs are laid
\nSadness truly and lamentation
\nPutting paid to all creation
\nShadows no more once so many
\nNow just heaps of bones

Living forms
\nAlas for they
\nSome drowned and others flew away
\nWe chomped through trillions
\nThe carnivore
\nFried chicken and chips
\nAnd mountains more
\nLambs and cows and pigs we chewed
\nTorturing them each of their brood<\/p>\n
Who suffered long
\nwho suffered well
\nAs we created a living HELL<\/p>\n
Extinction is forever
\nDespite our science we
\nCannot get back what we have lost
\nAnd so pre-history
\nTells us of the dinosaurs
\nThat wandered across the land
\nThe giants made up
\nWith minerals
\nThat Mother Nature planned<\/p>\n
But humans they just mined them all
\nStole them all away
\nGenetically modified other creatures
\nAnd watched them sadly pay
\nOur arrogance at playing god
\nWe thought we knew the score
\nWe began by splicing all the genes
\nWithout knowing what for<\/p>\n
Abusing horn and ivory
\nAnd scales and skin and fur
\nFeathers hair we wanted it
\nIts not as if we were
\nWithout skin we all possessed skin
\nBut sadly wanted more
\nWe hunted every creature
\nAnd just broke every law<\/p>\n
Extinction is forever
\nA finality
\nOur children will now remember
\nOur true depravity
\nNot a living soul to witness
\nOnly digital forms

\nThats the peril of Science
\nAnd the fact that most would dine<\/p>\n
On every single animal
\nOn birds on fish on more
\nWe exploited every species
\nTurned life itself to gore
\nWe drank their blood
\nWe tortured them
\nWe abused their every day
\nAnd finally they all gave up
