\nmoaning day and night
\nwhilst shipping sheep and pigs and cows
\nacross the sea
\nwell right
\nor wrong, its right by them it seems
\nfor millions of them go
\nshipped off without water
\nfor hours

no one it appears to me
\ndespite the EC laws
\nfor 40 hours in crowded holds
\nlocked up behind closed doors
\nthey don’t get fed or watered

\nthese are living breathing souls
