Arrogance and ignorance
\nFeel very much to me
\nTo add up in the scheme of things
\nTo where bio security
\nIs very much at risk I feel
\nAnd immunity
\nPrecautions they are flaunted
\nAnd vulnerability<\/p>\n
Become really an issue
\nPoorly treated hounds
\nSpread disease they surely do
\nPerhaps in leaps and bounds
\nWhere perhaps the ignorance
\nOccurs we have to see
\nAnd be much more aware of it
\nFor really it is key<\/p>\n
Parasites from carcasses
\nIn contact with us all
\nWith hygiene really at a low
\nIt becomes a tall
\nOrder, at the country shows
\nTo remedy the scene
\nWhere there is contamination
\nAnd the vulnerable have been<\/p>\n
Hunts collect the fallen
\nAnd Contamination may
\nCarcasses are fed to hounds
\nThis appears the way
\nMultiple farms and followers
\nThey defecate they do
\nThey urinate just where they want
\nAnd contaminate its true<\/p>\n
A hunt is uncontrollable
\nWater and faeces can
\nBe spread really all over
\nIt might not be the plan
\nBut how to plan with running hounds
\nSpreading the disease
\nWith children and the elderly
\nWhere There are no guarantees<\/p>\n
They ignore basic security
\nThere is arrogance about
\nReally they are breaking laws
\nOf that there is no doubt
\nNothing is impregnable
\nThere are perils everywhere
\nIt is a road to ruin
\nLeading onto some despair<\/p>\n
It is now fraught with danger
\nVenturesome I’d say
\nAnd the hunt can just go anywhere
\nAnd all around can pay
\nHelpless and unguarded
\nA minefield in a way
\nNo one heeds the warning
\nFrom the dire straits of each day<\/p>\n
Hunts can spread diseases
\nFallen stock is not
\nTested for the cause of death
\nRight across the flock
\nFarm animals and parasites
\nAnd ofcourse disease
\nAll sorts of vehicles come and go
\nBasically as they please<\/p>\n
We have all felt this for decades
\nAnd hunts regard the threat
\nIts costing farming millions
\nThe industry is set
\nFirm to prevent the spreading
\nAnd The lack of veterinary care
\nSuch movement across farmland
\nWhich we know goes everywhere<\/p>\n
Treating hounds for tapeworm
\nOffal being fed
\nWe know that there are problems
\nAnd that we are led
\nDown a slippery path to hell
\nEverywhere they go
\nFallen stock must not be fed
\nTo hounds and this we know<\/p>\n
There has to be enforcement
\nLaws are broken by
\nHunts we see it every day
\nTheir arrogance is high
\nThey hunt with hounds
\nThey do it despite the sabs who try
\nThey spread disease
\nOver boundaries
\nAnd ofcourse livestock does die<\/p>\n
Thats when the wild souls suffer
\nWhen farmers start to yell
\nIts all down to the badgers
\nWe know the argument well
\nAnd those poor souls are gassed and shot
\nThe grey suits think they know
\nAnd the hunting toffs continue
\nAnd the problems yes they grow<\/p>\n
Having laws and keeping to them
\nWith the police around
\nLeaving it to unpaid Angels
\nDown there on the ground
\nUp against the darkly ones
\nThe rich landowwners who
\nCome out with their bovver boys
\nThreatening they do<\/p>\n
Its a right old battle
\nClubs and sticks and stones
\nIts isnt just a war of words
\nSome have broken bones
\nBlack eyes whips across their backs
\nSome even ridden through
\nAnd the courts seem very wary
