\nDont like raptors in their midst
\nThe aristocracy
\nApparently are in it for the game
\nThe sport of kings
\nAnd kudos is a just reward
\nFor pretty birds with wings<\/p>\n
As for true predation
\nHen harriers Seem to be
\nRavens have a liking for fresh wild eggs
\nThey see
\nRed grouse eggs as something rather
\nTasty so I am told
\nAnd its weird again
\nThat licenses apparently
\nAre like gold<\/p>\n
Shooters killing Ravens
\nBeautiful black knights
\nAmazingly intelligent
\nBut they have lost their rights
\nTo be raptors up in Scotland
\nSomeone Hears their caws
\nAnd it might be gamekeepers
\nWorking the grouse moors<\/p>\n
Blanket bogs and heather
\nRaptors if you please
\nIts all down to the weather
\nWe are also losing bee’s
\nThe natural world is reeling
\nAs habitats are lost
\nCould it be wealthy businesses
\nAnd what the wild birds cost<\/p>\n
Issuing these licences
\nSome 4000 or more
\nTaking out the Ravens
\nTurning And trying to ignore
\nFor me its breaking natural laws
\nAnd I just wonder why
