\nWinter stands aghast

\nAnd A glaring light filled sky
\nSkelethal mannerisms

The Cherry looking wretched
\nIts leaves both damp and wet
\nLooking wholly tattered
\nClearly looking set
\nFor weeks of cold and darkness
\nFor a vapid loss of hue
\nWinters energising scourge
\nSomehow poking through<\/p>\n
Gnarled engrossed in torment
\nVictims all might say
\nOut there in the elements
\nEvery single day
\nSleeping in a time warp
\nPreparing for a time
\nWhen no birds will be sitting
\nAnd no animal will climb<\/p>\n
Winter in the offing
\nYule the corner round.
\nA brutal sky above
\nUs
\nA damp and frozen ground
\nEver changing outlooks
