\nBoth I do feel share
\n merits it appears
\nIts all about the masculine

\nAs for the animals
\nReally they can’t win<\/p>\n
Gun shearers can shear 200
\na day I hear
\nIn four sessions
\nbut it seems to me
\nTo be cruel
\nwith such insensitive behaviour
\nIts clearly something
\nthe public never see<\/p>\n
For me it takes lot of concentration
\nand often their inanity means they
\nAre into making money
\nnot caring for the sheep
\nAnd thoughtlessness
\non this scale does away<\/p>\n
With care and consideration
\nfor the animals
\nWho then get roughly handled
\npunched and kicked
\nWool gathering
\nIs such a painful business
\nAnd many a sheep their wounds
\nsadly are licked<\/p>\n
Mulesing is another vile creation
\nWhere farmers are too stingy
\nso what they
\nDo is employ travellers
\nwho go from farm to farm
\nAnd are untrained
\nin true shearing and they pay<\/p>\n
A lot less
\nfor what is mutilation
\n“They are only sheep who gives a shit”
\nthey say
\nA sharp knife around the breech
\nabout where they can reach
\nAnd then ripping the skin yes clean away<\/p>\n
No policing and standards there are none
\nNo anaesthetic ever
\nWhen the day is done
\nFarmsrs are a stingy breed
\nand if they can get away
\nWith paying less they do that
\nEvery single day<\/p>\n
They know all about subsidies
\nClaiming thats their thing
\nAs for paying wages
\nFor the competance
\nThey bring<\/p>\n
Up many excuses
\nthey will always try
\nShearing can be painful
\nAnd The sheep well they do cry
\nInside themselves its awful
\nWool the stuff you wear
\nIs not as ethical as you may think
\nThere is so much despair<\/p>\n
Associated with it
\nI say this sheepishly
\nThey really suffer greatly
\nAnd it should never be.
\nAnd all the wool about the place
\nNobody seems to be
\nConcerned about the poor old sheep
