Frosty circumstances
\nAnd sylph like avenues
\nDroplets of pure heaven
\nSamhain collects its dues
\nFrom the spirited ancestral path
\nAt the thinning of the veil
\nThe great big door flops open
\nAnd so begins our tale<\/p>\n
Eternal darkness lost in time
\nBehold an azure sky
\nThe sunlit boughs of Autumn
\nAnd gaping eyes that pry
\nInto the world of sun kissed droplets
\nAffectionaly known
\nA dew a true expression
\nOf ancestors tears full blown<\/p>\n
Searching for the long lost loves
\nThe ultimate refrain
\nThey find their way to a crusty henge
\nAnd pay homage once again
\nTo manifest a kindred warmth
\nFor this is where we be
\nIn the West facing the South
\nWhere Chipping looks to see<\/p>\n
And feel, the sweetest memories
\nOf the Cotswold Druids few
\nThose druids are emboldened
\nWelcoming all of you
\nEmerging and reflecting
\nIn the fire light all can see
\nA shared composition
\nAnd A collective reverie<\/p>\n
Each epitaph of yearning
\nEach spirit full refrain
\nHolding hands in circle
\nIs inclusive and we gain
\nInsights into past lives
\nOf those who came before
\nWe so Feel the ground
\nBeneath our feet
\nOf All those who came before<\/p>\n
For what we are all here for
\nTo share a bygone symphony
\nThe windthrust and the rain
\nAnd be certain that forever
\nWe shall walk this way again
\nJust to feel the connection
\nThat this gathering creates
\nA quality from beyond the stars
\nWhich Samhain validates<\/p>\n
