\nIs bitten
\nantagonistic I’d say
\nA nauseous act
\nA matter of fact
\nBut hardly a genuine way<\/p>\n
Of expressing respect
\nFor a victim
\nThat if not for you
\nStill would be
\nA soul in the forest
\nLiving its life
\nAbsorbed by its identity<\/p>\n
In this day and age
\nCarnivores eat
\nA vast range of flesh
\nSanitised and called meat
\nThere is absolutely
\nNo reason to kill
\nA deer in a forest
\nIts blood to spill<\/p>\n
To then tear its heart
\nFrom its body and feel
\nIts right to bite down on it
\nDo not conceal
\nThe evil within you
\nFor all you have done
\nIs created your karma
\nUnder the sun<\/p>\n
Contempt is the word
\nYou have now shown
\nThe trust and the care
\nThat so many have known
\nSuch intrusive proximity
\nI have to say
\nSocial media it is
\nThe meanest display<\/p>\n
Of arrogance out there
\n25 years
\nThe sum of your being
\nOr so it appears
\nYou feel its right
\nTo take life and be

\nCreation that miracle
