Subterfuge and chicanery
\nThe order of the day
\nHunting without killing foxes
\nHas to be the way
\nHas to because the law
\nHas changed
\nAnd foxes must not be
\nChased around the countryside
\nBy idiots who be<\/p>\n
Often tanked on dry fly
\nBy the schooner it is said
\nOn horses with their packs of
\nHounds where their instinct
\nComes to head
\nPicking up the wild fox trail
\nAnd chasing it about
\nAnd finding it and tearing it to bits
\nWithout a doubt<\/p>\n
Tally ho its such a blow
\nTo all these twerps in red
\nRiding freely anywhere
\nMany off their head
\nHave you noticed
\nIf an angel happens to come by
\nThe expletives and the venom
\nMy goddess does it fly<\/p>\n
If the hounds pick up a real fox
\nWhilst trail hunting they
\nBlame that on their instinct
\nAnd turn around and say
\n“Sorry officer we were just trail hunting”
\nAnd then they
\nThe dogs picked up a scent it seems
\nAnd chased it all the way<\/p>\n
Its an excuse to get out there
\nAnd do what hunts all do
\nKill foxes hares and deers
\nGiven the chance but the law came through
\nIts banned hunting with dogs
\nBut then the toffs they know the way
\nUse fox urine and that will get them off
\nA charge they say<\/p>\n
The law is the law and all hunts
\nShould disband and right a way
\nNo more hunting with hounds no more
\nGet rid of them okay
\nGet rid of all the clobber
\nClose the hunts down they
\nAre well beyond their sell by date
