\nAll seeing
\nFresh eyes
\nseeing all that is there
\nUnvarnished and unartificial
\nand being aware
\nWide-eyed and blameless
\nAn enquiring mind
\nA thirst and a reason
\nIn all that we find
\nCuriously searching
\nEngrossed in it all
\nMindful and needful
\nAnd ready to call<\/p>\n
All the light
\nFrom the sky
\nBrings colours to be
\nPerceiving the aura
\nSensitively
\nAn intuitiveness
\nBorn of instinctive
\nThoughts
\npre programmed with
\nKnowledge
\ninspired of sorts
\nBy the big world
\nAround us
\nBy the noises we hear
\nBy the smells in the garden
\nAnd the bird song so clear
\nFeeling that gracefulness
\nThat unlaboured sound
\nOf the cricket or
\nThe scuffling mouse on the ground<\/p>\n
Being at that level
\nEverything seems
\nTo be tall
\nA perspective
\nJust Open to all
\nBugs in the grass
\nOr a web on the fence
\nOr the sun through the trees
\nThat just seems to make sense
\nWonderment everywhere
\nAn enchanted place
\nMums always smiling
\nHer beautiful face
\nHer voice ever calming
\nHer hands always soft
\nAnd I can almost touch
\nThe sky
\nWhen she holds me aloft<\/p>\n
A robin sits quietly
\nIn the garden today
\nWith cars driving past
\nHe has little to say
\nHe listens avidly
\nTo the odd squirm
\nLifting his head
\nAnd hearing the worm
\nWatching the gardener
\nDigging the loam
\nExposing the bugs
\nAnd soon he will comb
\nThrough the looseness
\nProvided for surely
\nThere will
\nBe dinner for him
\nAnd he will get his fill<\/p>\n
As we grow to be big
\nSo much then we miss
\nThe leaves on the trees
\nTheir colours
\nThe bliss
\nOf seeing the small things
\nOf being aware
\nTo be kind of childlike
\nIts then when you share
\nThe balance of nature
\nYou dont have to know
\nWhat the latin name is
\nYou just watch things grow
\nAll seeing all hearing
\nAll caring
\nYou be
\nChildlike perhaps
\nWith the courage to see<\/p>\n
Whats in your backyard
\nNo need to go far
\nUnder a stone
\nYou might see a star
\nA slow worm perhaps
\nThat adults seldom see
\nSo many adults miss
\nSo much and they be
\nIn need of stimulants
\nEveryday
\nThe coffee the alcohol
\nAnd thats their way
\nOf seeing whats not there
\nOf smoking a joint
\nAnd in their reality
