How many wild foxes
\nFall foul to these snares
\nThese cruel torture chambers
\nBadgers and Hares
\nOther wild creatures no doubt
\nFight for breath
\nAnd so very slowly
\nDie an agonising death<\/p>\n
Under the branches
\nIn bracken somewhere
\nThey lie slowly dying
\nAnd never a prayer
\nIs said at their passing
\nIts legal to lay
\nThese atrocious gadgets
\nAbout come would say<\/p>\n
If a pet dog should stumble
\nOr a child maybe they
\nWould scream to the heavens
\nSocial media might play
\nOut the stories expecting
\nCompassion to be
\nLoaded and readily
\nShared evidently<\/p>\n
Then there might be law changing
\nPossibly they
\nMight then see how tragic
\nIt was to lay
\nTraps of this type
\nWhere pet dogs could be
\nVictims like this little dog
\nBut we see<\/p>\n
Through all this evil
\nFor then everyday
\nThe fact that they are set
\nMeans success in a way
\nThey are catching wild souls
\nAbusing life force
\nAnd are murdering foxes
\nAs a matter of course<\/p>\n
And we all know its happening
\nBut we fail to act
\nWild life is sadly
\nConstantly tracked
\nThere isnt a let up
\nFarmers appear
\nGamekeepers countrymen
