Seeing those birds
\nAgainst the wall
\nHiding their faces
\nIts says it all
\nTheir aversion
\nAnd mine too
\nTo the foie gras farmer
\nWho is there to do<\/p>\n
Is damndest really
\nSuch antipathy
\nAn anthema of hostility
\nIts so forbidding
\nTheir purity
\nimmersed in
\nIllegality
\nSuffering so punished
\nThey

\nvindictive display<\/p>\n
A torture room
\nWe feel their fear
\nThe fat balls Abd corn
\nFrom ear to ear
\nPlunged down their throats
\nForce fed with pain
\nAnd ofcourse it happens
\nTime and again<\/p>\n
These are water birds
\nAnd they need to be
\nIn water out there
\nFeeling free
\nInstead its up against a wall
\nWith hurt thats going
\nTo affect them all<\/p>\n
Their throats are sore
\nBloody and rank
\nTheir livers are swollen
\nTheir minds are blank
\nTheir time is up
\nAnd they must go
\nTo the slaughter house
\nThe knife to follow<\/p>\n
Such spitefulness
\nAnd dark intent
\nFor the fat arse rich
\nFrom hell they are sent
\nTo scoff this evil
\nThis abusive dish
\nAll the worst intentions
\nThat they could wish<\/p>\n
Diseased liver
\nSwollen to
\nTen times the size
\nAnd this is true
\nIt enters the lungs
\nAnd the breathing will
\nGet worse and worse

And sure enough todays the day
\nKnifed in the throat
\nSouls slips Away
\nTo the summerlands
\nTo the magic place
\nWhere the angels smile
\nAnd face to face<\/p>\n
The hell is over
\nThe pain is too
\nAs the liver is processed
\nFoie gras will do
\nFor the princely sum
\nOf ten pounds or more
\nFor some ulcer ridden
\nToff whose sure<\/p>\n
He wants to eat it
\nAnd taste the pain
\nThe insensitive rotter
\nAll his disdain
