To my mind tonight was too much for me
\nwatching a singer
\nand thinking how she
\ncan concentrate really
\nas she has to do
\nwhilst children are running
\nabout and all through
\nher line of sight and my line of sight
\nshe singing her heart out
\nit cannot be right
\nThe Holiday Inn
\nhas got to accept
\nanother location
\nfor me to be swept
\nup in the noise of the
\nFootball and screen
\nof kids running in and out
\nit is just mean
\nits terrible planning
\nand to my own mind
\nso disrespectful
\nof someone so kind
\nshe stands there
\nand sings all sorts of songs
\nrequests at the top of her voice
\nbut these wrongs
\nto my mind will never get sorted until
\nthe Hotel sorts a space out
\nand that space is, still
\nnot part of some playground
\nkid’s running about
\npeople close to the singer
\n in doubt
\nwatching the football
\nand talking aloud
\ndistracting the singer
\nand those in the crowd
\nfor me I’m surprised that
\nanyone can
\nbe so direspectful
\nfor me the whole plan
\nof football and singing
\nis just so naive
\nand for me I feel sad
\nand for her well I grieve<\/p>\n
Aida has talent
\nshe loves what she does
\nshe belts out her songs
\nand creates such a buzz
\nthe Sirocco is made better
\nbecause she is there
\nbut for me how its planned
\nproves that people don’t care
\nI leave this hotel
\nfeeling sad in my heart
\nthis is just poor planning
\nright from the start
\nhave football
\nby all means
\nhave a singer too
\nbut put them together
\nthats not what you do
\nits wrong
\nand its sad
\nfor me I feel bad
