\nIt came from the outback
\nSo far away

\nAnimal park
\nAnd escapes
\nAnd is run down
\nBy the police<\/p>\n
Yes they mark
\nOut their place
\nTo just follow it
\nAs frightened it runs
\nOn motor bikes
\nFlashing their guns<\/p>\n
An AUstralian Emu
\nHas every right
\nTo run like the clappers
\nWith no recourse to flight
\nWhat else can it do
\nIt was sad in a way
\nThere were no experts around
\nWho could pay<\/p>\n
Attention perhaps to dart it
\nJust coppers on wheels
\nWith no experience
\nOf such ordeals
\nFor them its a runaway
\nChase it and fight
\nOfcourse a wild emu
\nWould run<\/p>\n
Its the height
\nOf arrogance really
\nFor people in Spain
\nTo keep such a bird
\nIt is so insane
\nTo be able to buy
\nThem and bring them to spain
\nIts the same with Koala
\nAnd ROo’s theres no gain<\/p>\n
All these wild creatures
\nShould be left alone
\nIts wrong on all counts
\nBut the seeds they were sown

\nWho some how got away
\nFrom his captors this wild soul

Now an investigation needs to be undertaken
\nTo find out who had this bird why did they have this bird
\nAnd we all as Nations should prevent wild souls
\nImported as pets if this is what has happened
\nAnd if its a zoo or game park then under licence only
\nAnd care and attention provided to prevent such
