A yellow hammer just a little bird
\nFrom long ago
\nNature created its refrain
\nIts song we all loved so
\nFlitting across wide habitats
\nInto landscapes where
\nEvery little bunting
\nJust cast away despair<\/p>\n
Poets from a former time
\nNoted its sweet song
\nAnd it appeared in verses
\nWhere it did belong
\nSaid now to be red listed
\nPart down to the EU
\nThe intensive farming principled
\nThat kind of went askew<\/p>\n
Stewardship schemes
\nCame into play
\nAnd after BREXIT we
\nHave the where for all to ensure
\nBecause then we hold the key
\nTo ensure the yellow hammers
\nAnd the wild birds everywhere
\nAre treated as fine citizens

We really are a United Kingdom
