Using the eyes
\nWe were given to see
\nAnd feel pain
\nAnd sharing it
\nall constantly<\/p>\n
Being mindful about life
\nOf Knowing the strain
\nBearing down on those of us
\nWho truthfully gain
\nWe do make a difference
\nAnd devastatingly
\nWill though our backs ache
\nWe all can free<\/p>\n
We try our best by
\nopening minds
\nClosed to the truth
\nJust like opening blinds
\nit bears down on the nerves
\nof many who peer
\nover the parapet
\nWho feel the fear
\nAnd the brokenhearted
\nWhose characters be
\nSet fine and sure
\nIn the peoples army.<\/p>\n
Take the pachyderm tribes
\nLarge animals we
\nSee how Massively strong
\nthey really can be
\nBut with human squalor
\nWe rapidly break
\nand they are overpowered
\nAll losing a stake<\/p>\n
And begin serving idiocy
\nand their grime
\nOf slaving in the dust
\nOf being chained and beaten
\nOf knowing the disgust
\nOf mahouts and of rich men
\nWho have eyes who tend to see
\nThe whole picture avaiable
\nBut only selfishly<\/p>\n
Taking the advantage
\nThe arrogance of man
\nHis cruelty so evident
\nI am not a fan
\nOf watching the great beings
\nBrutalised and made
\nTo work as slaves
\nAnd go to their graves
\nWatching their bold hearts fade<\/p>\n
Giving rides to tourists
\nThe zoo mentality
\nLiving souls become
\nInfact
\nJust a commodity
\nThe philosophy of caging
\nAnd chaining them
\nIs wrong
\nAs such these people
\nDoing this
\nSimply don’t belong<\/p>\n
But corporations
\nHave risen like diseases
\nEverywhere
\nFeeding each other tidbits
\nIt really now is rare
\nTo see the kindly caring
\nSanctuaries not
\nIn it just to be
\nHelping caring and sharing
\nAnd working thoughtfully<\/p>\n
Instead its to do with balance sheets
\nIts profit and its loss
\nThe shareholders
\nThe dividends
\nWho the hell is boss
\nAnimals the unemployed
\nWorkers who become
\nLost souls and are regarded
\nAs the unthinking hard working numb<\/p>\n
And so infact its torture
\nIts suffering its there
\nBefore the eyes of all of us
\nBut few around despair
\nIts all taken for granted
\nZoo’s and game parks are
\nDoing it for money
\nNone of them do star
\nIn seeing tearful eyes
\nIn realising they
\nAre really being tortured
\nTo death and everyday<\/p>\n
The dolphins and the orca’s
\nAnd the lions and tigers they
\nThe elephants the animals all of them
\nWould say
\nCaged up used in circus
\nRoped in rodeo
\nTortured in the bull rings
\nHunted on the go
\nAmbushed by the safari parks
\nTheir advantages lost and gone
\nFor the animals ad nauseum
\nTheir future One big con<\/p>\n
And the tourists are assisting
\nWith their ignorance
\nFor they
\nare being sold these packages
\nBy the names that do display
\nTheir ugly ideology
\nOf pampering those who
\nKnow how to take advantage
\nOf the animals who do<\/p>\n
The dirty work slaves to a cause
\nNot of their making they
\nWant their freedoms to live their lives
\nTo not be the display
\nChained up caged up
\nRaped of worth
\nMade to walk on rich mans earth
\nOn his concrete and tarmac where
\ntheir feet are aching
\nWith despair<\/p>\n
The carers of the human kind
\nThose who see who are never blind
\nTo the emotional and feelings they
\nRealise along the way
\nWho put their effort into trying
\nTo help the animals
\nThus defying
\nthe corporations
\nThat now control
\nGreat monsters really Without a soul<\/p>\n
Everywhere BIG And SMART
\nThey measure and meter
\nWithout a heart
\nIts business as usual
\nIts about control
\nGet every last drop
\nOf blood their goal
\nProfit insentient thats their salvation
\nRuling the world
\nWith ingratiation<\/p>\n
Keeping the largely powerful
\nIn chains
\nWith threats and with torture
\nThey go to great pains
\nTo keep fear apparent
\nTo maintain their power
\nDivide and rule
\nLet them taste what is sour<\/p>\n
Those of us fighting
\nTo get back some power
\nTake on the criminal element
\nHow
\nWe go about doing that
\nIts mindful and we
\nHave to fight hard
\nJust to be where we be<\/p>\n
our hearts are alive
\nFor we see eye to eye
\nWe care and we share
\nAnd we realize why
\nThe plight of the animal tribes
\nEverywhere
\nlike the great whales
\nHarpooned with an arrogant air
\nThe elephants shot by the canned
\nHunters gun
\nThe Lions farmed to die
\nTheir bones bleached in the sun<\/p>\n
The Chinese TCM with enormous power
\nThis historic message
\nThe masses do cower
\nIn the regions of China
\nSuffering ill
\nStill very unmindful
\nOf the blood that they spill
\nNow black marketeers
\nAnd the spivvery class
\nAre out slicing fins
\nOff of sharks
\nAs they pass<\/p>\n
All of Natures powerful
\nBroken and lost
\nBy the corporate cancers
\nAt a terrible cost
\nTo humanities sanity
\nTo each of us who
\nStand up and fight
\nAs many now do<\/p>\n
Against oil against coal
\nAnd nuclear power
\nBig energy big pharma
\nThey seemingly tower
\nAbove us in stature
\nBut we are out there
\nLike ants we can see
\nWe can feel
\nWe can share<\/p>\n
We use social media
\nWe communicate
\nWe get to grips
\nWith how we can sate
\nOur worldly appetitites
\nFor bringing change
\nWith our hearts and our souls
\nWe can grow and exchange<\/p>\n
We suffer ofcourse we do
\nWe get depressed
\nWe are the Davids
\nAnd Goliaths have stressed
\nUs all out but sling shots
\nAnd pebbles we use
\nAnd together we really
\nAre turning the screws<\/p>\n
Some may go to prison
\nRot in their jails
\nWe may lose our minds
\nBut hard as nails
\nWe will overcome
\nWe will wait and see
\nFor our eyes we use
\nTo see their eyes and be<\/p>\n
On the same path to a brighter
