IT was Noah who found her
\nUpside down on the grass
\nSwept out of her nest
\nAs it came to pass
\nBy a great hand of wind
\nAnd off the tall pine
\nShe fell rolling over
\nHer life on the line<\/p>\n
And there she was
\nInjured fretful just there
\nNoah brought her in
\nShe was in some despair
\nWe made her a nest
\nFed her and she
\nBecame our best friend
\nOur adoptee<\/p>\n
In Oz they are omnivores
\nSo what we did
\nWas learn what to feed
\nHer really in a bid
\nTo save her and thats
\nWhat we did in a way
\nSave her and well
\nShe did not fly away<\/p>\n
Well not forever
\nFor she always returned
\nClearly this magpie
\nWas very concerned
\nWith mum Sam and everyone
\nWe let her be
\nFree as a bird
\nBut in our family<\/p>\n
Mum wasnt well
\nShe had sufferred and she
\nCouldnt walk well
\nInjured she be
\nIn these circumstances
\nHope is a thing
\nAnd this little angel
\nGreat joy she did bring<\/p>\n
Encouraging us all
\nIn her bird like way
\nTo think on the bright side
\nAnd help every day
\nShe would come in at six
\nShe would sleep on our bed
\nShe would sing
\nShe would bring
\nAll the joys yes instead<\/p>\n
Of depression of soreness
\nShe gave us hope
\nOne little magpie
\nShe helped us to cope
\nTo see all the good
\nThat is out there today
\nAnd to banish the blues
