What does a mirror show you?
\nthat you really never knew
\nmore lines on your forehead?
\nyour eyes are not set true
\nyour hair is a shade whiter?
\nthan you believed it was
\nand that you have aged more in
\none month,
\nall of that because?
\nthe mirror does it lie to you?
\nits your own eyes that see
\nis this the face that others love,
\nis it possibly?
\nor is it an illusion?
\nis there nothing there at all?
\njust a bit of glass
