I find it hard to contemplate
\nDecisions that are made
\nTo overide the natural world
\nWhere evolution laid
\nAn existential promise
\nInstictively that see
\nA vibrational distinction
\nWhere sea turtles choose to be<\/p>\n
A private beach in Florida
\nOn the Eastern Shore
\nOf the Gulf of Mexico
\nPrivate homes galore
\nAn unadulterated view
\nOf the Western Sky
\nAnd then to see these turtles
\nlaying eggs
\nThey all ask why<\/p>\n
Their place of natural beauty
\nWhere the ambiance is pure
\nBellair Shore must not ignore
\nTheir need it is no lure
\nFor creatures wild or any other
\nTo lay eggs for they
\nCare about their beautiful beach
\nAnd all this is in their way<\/p>\n
They fail to see the essentialness
\nWhy nature sought to choose
\nThey believe it lowers the very tone
\nTheir exclusiveness they lose
\nA selfish streak, humanity
\nWho refuse to relate to the whole
\nEnvironment around them
\nI think that just lacks soul<\/p>\n
A kinship with the natural world
\nA liason is the thing
\nThe analogy of belonging
\nAnd what that begins to bring
\nTo societies around the world
\nWho truthfully wish to share
\nRather than Want the opposite
\nAnd really do not care<\/p>\n
Irrespective of the nature
\nAnd its consequence to life
\nThey care about their real estate
\nAnd house prices the strife
\nThey feel is of importance
\nAs for shell like sods
\nThey can go and take a running jump
\nAnd actually blame their gods<\/p>\n
For guiding them to a private beach
\nIn Florida where we
\nThe residents pay high regard
\nIt costs enormously
\nTo live here in this exclusive place
\nIt reminds me of the tale
\nOf the giant that built a huge high wall
\nAnd Everything went stale
\nNo birds no insects no animals
\nVisited him at all
\nHe had his blooming paradise
\nBut nobody did call<\/p>\n
The world was meant for sharing
\nWith the wild souls of the sea
\nOf the air the forests and the fields
\nWe all need to be
\nOne family together
\nFor the common good
\nWe are all natures children
\nThink hard because you should<\/p>\n
To these rich guys in their houses
\nOverlooking the gulf and sea
\nRemember to be beautiful
\nLife just has to be
\nFull of love and caring
\nDont uglify and feel
\nFor Beneath your feet there is more to life
\nThan your real estates reveal<\/p>\n
