Personally I have always thought
\nAquaculture wasnt right
\nI fought against its introduction
\nFor organic salmon
\nBut of a blight
\nof understanding
\nReigned supreme and despite my personal fear
\nOrganic aquaculture
\nHappened and it was clear<\/p>\n
Bringing together so many fish
\nWas bound to cause problems and they
\nWere loaded for making profits
\nWhich always gets in the way
\nOf ethic and environmental truth
\nWith knock on affects
\nFor all
\nWith derogations likely seeing
\nOrganic standards fall<\/p>\n
Excuses become the norm alas
\nAnd despite size numbers they
\nHave to use pesticides which fail to work
\nAnd lead to an array
\nOf yet more derogations
\nAnd a lightening of the load
\nOn fish farmers that truthfully
\nBreak the organic code<\/p>\n

\nTalked about the seals
\nAnd The RSPCA
\nHow “Marina”just one solitary seal
\nWas saved by them but they
\nAre watching farmers shoot
\nHundreds of seals
\nWith not a lot to say<\/p>\n
Farms are given certification
\nOf RSPCA that doesnt signify organic
\nFAr from it I will say
\nBut it compromises environmentsl standards
\nAnd we see
\nOther animals affected and
\nReally this shouldnt be<\/p>\n
There are many implications
\nFeed is one for sure
\nThe fisherman are scooping up huge quantities
\nAnd more
\nOf anchovies and sardines and mackeral
\nAnd herring fry
\nand they become fish pellets
\nSomeone must ask why<\/p>\n
All these little fishes are then
\nExcluded from the wild
\nThe baleen whales the other fish
\nThe indigenous people
\nDialled
\ninto the need
\nTo build upon the masses
\nSo everyone can feed<\/p>\n
The waste and there is vast amounts
\nUnder the radar they
\nCreate a vile incendiary
\nOf feces every day
\nThe sea bottom is often torn up
\nWith all life forms their gone
\nAnd the sea lice when they
\nFind so many fish
\nWill dwell upon<\/p>\n
And so we see vast quatities of
\nPesticides abroad
\nEven in organic aqua culture
\nNot met with accord
\nBut sadly it has to happen
\nBased on arrogance I feel
\nAnd ignorance which together
\nThey all try to conceal<\/p>\n
Wild fin fish are now suffering
\nThe environments are too
\nThe qualities of protein
\nFor the farmed fish
\nIts not true
\nDrop down fed on fish fry
\nPellets which to me
\nIs kind of telling porkies
\nFor the wild fish actually<\/p>\n
Farmed fish served in restsurants
\nAnd sold off in stores
\nSales are falling rather
\nEveryone ignores
\nThe fact that many wild fish
\nAre not around as much
\nFarmed fish are much cheaper
\nBut not everyone is such<\/p>\n
An expert on what fish they buy
\nThe cheapest seems to me
\nIs now outselling wild fish
\nPurely on price
\nIt be
\nEacapees are now changing
\nThe wild fish quality
\nBy introducing parasites
\nWhere they shouldnt be<\/p>\n
As to the RSPCA certifying farms
\nThat do not double net
\nTheir tanks
\nNo one is having qualms
\nAbout this
\nAnd the shooters are killing seals
\nLike mad
\nAnd still get their certIfication
\nWhich is entirely sad<\/p>\n
I think dealing with animals
\nTo be subjective we
\nWhen dealing with their life and death
\nWe really have to be
\nvegan
\nIf we are eating fish and meat
\nAs carnivores
\nYou cannot expect the rigidity
\nIn the standards laws<\/p>\n
And this for me is reason enough
\nTo really say aloud
\nFish farming and trophy hunting
\nReally draws a cloud over
\nWhat is farmed compared
\nTo wild and natural for we
\nAre unable to inject profit
\nFirst
\nAnd expect the world to be<\/p>\n
THe Natural way is based around
\nSustainablity
\nTried and tested for millenia
\nIts balanced holistically
\nWhere money is involved
\nAnd where profit is as well
\nYou cannot have a system
\nThat is anything but hell<\/p>\n
On earth for all the creatures
\nInvolved in the idea
\nThe sea life and the sea lice
\nAnd the crustaceans that appear
\nPredation that is out there
\nSharing the bounty too
\nAnd comes up against the balance sheet
\nAnd we know then what we do<\/p>\n
Its arrogance personified
\nIn every walk of life
\nTo imagine we can replicate
\nWild nature without strife
\nWithout creating anomalies
\nAs we increase the scale
\nThe human is the anathema
