Judgment of perceived love
\nThe question of the day
\nDo you live in a story book
\nIs that romance any way<\/p>\n
These pigs drowned when the water
\nCame
\nNo one around to see
\nNo one around to give them love
\nAnd they all drowned tragically<\/p>\n
How many of us have drowned like this
\nHave been left all alone
\nNobody to really love us
\nOf all the souls we have known<\/p>\n
We dreamed of our perfect partner
\nThe story book the prince
\nThe one who would sweep us off our feet
\nAnd our words would never mince<\/p>\n
These pigs were so unfortunate
\nTheir incarnation brought them to
\nA farmer who was feeding them
\nThats what farmers do<\/p>\n
But he was never loving them
\nFor him his safety was
\nMore important than anything else
\nAnd that my friends was because<\/p>\n
He loved himself especially
\nMore than anyone
\nThe pigs were All insured
\nThat much he had done<\/p>\n
As to their life their worth
\nTo him purely financial let me say
\nHe knew the flood was coming
\nBut he just drove away<\/p>\n
The pigs believed that he loved them
\nHe fed them kind of, he
\nGave them the bare minimum
\nHe always had the key<\/p>\n
He kept it in his pocket
\nAnd They were locked away
\nSo even when the waters came
\nThey were locked in and did pay<\/p>\n
For allowing him to control their lives
\nPerhaps a karmic debt
\nThat went way back through ancestry
\nTheir termination set<\/p>\n
How many of us live our lives
\nIn a similar way
\nWe hold out for the handsome prince
\nWho will whisk us clean away<\/p>\n
To that faery castle
\nsomewhere in the sky
\nTelling us they love us
\nOur story book is why<\/p>\n
So many of us find a love
\nWe tell them when we do
\nBut they shun us for another
\nAnd then remain a!one all through<\/p>\n
I so feel for these pigs I do
\nWhen the flood came they were locked
\nIn a barn lost to the world
\nExisting all half cocked<\/p>\n
The farmer only valued them
\nAnd insured them for that price
\nBut when the floods came
\nHe was gone
\nHe had rolled the dice<\/p>\n
His life was the important one
\nHe never even thought
\nAbout how the pigs would suffer
\nHe wasnt overwrought<\/p>\n
Each one of them so wanted
\nTo live to love to be
\nPigs in their true meaning of the word
\nBut we can see<\/p>\n
The outcome they all perished
\nAnd many of us too
\nPerish in the lives we lead
\nWhen our own flood comes through<\/p>\n
The story book partner that we chose
\nLike the farmer lets us down
\nAnd we are left to face the music
\nLike some circus clown<\/p>\n
The farmer where’s the farmer
\nIs the question we must ask
\nAll those poor pigs perished
\nAnd do so they cant bask<\/p>\n
Out in the woods surrounding
\nThe prison where they are kept
\nThey cant use inclination
\nAnd the water must have swept<\/p>\n
Down the ruddy mountainside
\nInto their locked stall
\nAnd they were carried away
\nAnd drowned a lesson for us all<\/p>\n
The tragedy has happened
\nAnd flesh eaters will say
\nThink of that poor farmer
\nHis livelihood lost that day<\/p>\n
Had those pigs been really loved
\nThey would still be alive
\nIn the woods out in the fields
\nSome might have survived<\/p>\n
All animals are able
\nTo swim they may have strived
\nSensed the coming waters
\nAnd moved to higher ground
\nBut locked inside their rotten barn
\nThat is where they were found<\/p>\n
Similarly during the tsunami animals chained up died
