Called to a bag
\non a pavement
\nCries coming from it
\nso they
\nWent off to find it
\nPoor little soul
\nAnd he was crying all day<\/p>\n
Thin and emaciated
\nan injured hip
\nTerrible mange
\nBut could he let rip
\nWith Tears and emotion
\nClearly in pain
\nUnsure and worried
\nLife seemed invain<\/p>\n
Collected and cared for
\nLoved every day
\nFed and look after
\nIn six weeks the way
\nHe looked was a miracle
\nHis skin perfectly
\nSoftened and cared for
\nHe jumped avidly<\/p>\n
His new name was “jumper”
\nYelping away
\nLoved by the angels
\nOh he loved to play
\nTenderness care and generosity
\nBrought the dog back
\nAnd now what we see<\/p>\n
A completely new fellow
\nIt just goes to show
\nWhat love and affection
\nCan do and you know
\nHe actually looks happy
\nAnd playful as well
