From the Holiday Inn to the Shopping Mall
\na main road runs
\nthe cars
\nare driving most at break neck speed
\nand I mights as well be from mars
\nfor the local Mayor to worry
\nI get no help from him
\nTraffic Lights would clearly help
\nand its not said on a whim
\nit would be very helpful for
\nHotel guests and me
\nI could cause an accident
\nif I tried to cross you see
\nthe shops could get more business
\neveryone would be
\nhappier and safer
\nWhich the local Mayor should see<\/p>\n
And so I do appeal to you
\nI’m infact trapped because
\ntrying to get across the road
\neveryday it was
\ntoo dangerous no cars even slow down
\nso a crossing we do need
\nMr Mayor if you are there
\nI do hope when you read<\/p>\n
This you will consider my request
\nit has seriously curtailed my ability to spend money at the Mall
\na set of lights would not be too impossible and a serious accident is waiting to happen be sure of that <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
