The king could hear her above his roar
\nA sound that he dare not ignore
\nTuned into “bast” he made his way
\nTo the coastal cliff where he would stay
\nThe water lapping at his feet
\nThe sun above providing heat
\n“Siren” below calling his name

He pushed his head into the brine
\nA glowing light a kind of sign
\nA beautiful women with flailing hair
\nAnd the bluest eyes made him aware
\nDont be afraid king of the land

The King pushed on forgetting he
