The whale watching boats
\nSee whales everyday
\nThey call them by name
\nHow they display
\n“Humpy” a Minke
\nThey come into the bay
\nTo gorge on the sandeels

So there is affection
\nOn the whale watching side
\nBut loftssons whale catching
\nNo one can hide
\nHis horrific temper
\nTantamount to sin
\nIndependence for him
\nIt does underpin
\nNow how he thinks

\nExplosions that threw
\nwhale heaven all of them hurled
\nTo be flensed of their skin
