I am hoping that you can help me
\nI am stuck in here in this zoo
\nWith nobody who cares for me
\nReally whatever I do
\nIn a really inadequate enclosure
\nOften in the searing heat
\nNo foliage to interst me
\nAnd the sun that wants to beat<\/p>\n
Down on me no shade to speak of
\nOfcourse my mental state
\nInstinctively I am suffering
\nLife here isnt great
\nI am really suffering badly
\nAnd I need your help sir please
\nThe zoo has been ungenerous
\nAnd There is pain in both my knees<\/p>\n
Long suffering and down trodden
\nI need you to think of me
\nI know you to be a fair man
\nA man whose history
\nIs of not being complacent
\nAnd of being fair
\nAnd so with just these qualities
\nAlready you compare<\/p>\n
With ancestors in my life
\nBut here the humans they
\nHave been indisposed to offer
\nAny help along the way
\nIt has all been harsh and rough for me
\nMy skin chafed from the chain
\nThe tenderness the weaknesses
\nI am in a lot of pain<\/p>\n
A crumb of comfort would be great
\nTo mitigate my soul
\nTo cusion me a little
\nFrom being in this hole
\nWhere there is some unhappiness
\nI am dispirited to see
\nThe doldrums with me all this time
\nPerhaps an eternity<\/p>\n
Perhaps neglect and harrassment
\nIs all that I can see
\nLife is so monotonous
\nAnd I am frightfully
\nWorried about my mental state
\nFor I am tearful every day
\nIf you intervene sir
\nAnd help me get away<\/p>\n
O would feel so joyful
\nA sanctuary of sorts
\nThis place is so awful
\nTake me into your thoughts
\nHere my daily affirmations
\nMy rumbles that I send
\nAnd help me please sir help me
