The extent of basic care
\nFor pigs is evident today
\nFarmers and when transporting them
\nThe venality in play
\nIs criminal its wicked
\nThe immorality
\nIts so unforgivable
\nFor me degeneracy<\/p>\n
Pigs use passive diffusion
\nThey thermoregulate
\nDesigned to live near water
\nAnd mud that is the state
\nOf cooling down in water
\nNo eccrine sweat glands
\nThey
\nHave glands excreting protein
\nAnd ammonia but they pay
\nA high price from our ignorance
\nComplicit in their pain
\nSuch a lack of understanding
\nDrives a pig insane<\/p>\n
Live shipments or hauling pigs
\nTo the slaughterhouse means they
\nAre threatened with life forces
\nThat will not go away
\nConfined in sweaty vehicles
\nAnd made to stand there they
\nAre being tortured horribly
\nIn the most destructive way<\/p>\n
Its our superiority
\nWhere we see lack of respect
\nIrreverence and mockery
\nAnd the darkness of neglect
\nTotal humiliation
\nOf a being Made to pay
\nwas never designed to Be treated
\nIn such a nasty way<\/p>\n
And that warriors at demonstrations
\nHave been charged under the law
\nFor sharing water with the pigs
\nSuffering and sore
\nThe disrespect of caring
\nThe humbleness some show
\nAnd are tossed aside
\nLike criminals
\nWhen the criminals we know<\/p>\n
Are the meat trade
\nAnd the farmers
\nIgnorant and cruel
\nThat do not know what honour is
\nIts their law that does rule
\nProfit and the making of it
\nAt the expense of those
\nWho are cooking from the inside out
