Anchorage
\nWhitewater falls
\nBrown bears feeding
\nAll these walls
\nOf rock and water
\nAt Brook falls where
\nExcitement is unrelenting there<\/p>\n
The drama plays out
\nAs salmon leap
\nUp stream
\nAnd the wild bears
\nClearly reap
\nFresh bold fish
\nA fighting force
\nHoping to return to source<\/p>\n
And what we see before our eyes
\nA tourist one of those arrogant guys
\nWading in to the river there
\nA selfie hunter unaware
\nImbecility one on one
\nIrrationality bound to stun
\nEnlightened ones who hope to see
\nThe brown bears feeding avidly<\/p>\n
They are dangerous in the extreme
\nHe so unwise it didnt seem
\nreality
\nHis reckless stance
\nA fools errand maybe so
\nA chance
\nBut criminal charges must follow
\nDanger to the bears out there
\nAnd to the unhinged one where
\nHe thought he was going
\nOur question why
\nA hare brained act to attempt to try<\/p>\n
The actual height of absurdity
\nSo senseless his tomfoolery
\nInebriated possibly
\nCloser to insanity
\nWithin fifty feet
\nOf feeding bears
\nA moronic state of affairs
\nCould have ended up
\nEaten alive
\nOr attacked so badly
\nHe wouldnt survive<\/p>\n
They are wild
\nOur privelege
\nIs to join them
\nAs they hunt and feed
\nTo get down in the wet with them
\nIs the most foolish of any deed
\nSo he got his selfie
\nMAybe so
\nBut now to prison
\nHe has to go<\/p>\n
A term in which to
\nContemplate
\nHis oafishness
\nAnd the debate
\nHe could have died
\nAnd some bears too
\nMight have been shot
