Animal RIGHTS
\nHave come of age
\nIn india today
\nProviding all the evidence
\nThat live exports
\nAre no way<\/p>\n
Of ever treating animals
\nSending them to their death
\nAnd torturing them on voyages
\neven denying them breath<\/p>\n
Its discriminative behaviour
\nIts vulgar and indiscreet
\nAnd there is so much evidence
\nIts trying to compete
\nWith distributors much closer
\nAt the expense of those
\nAnimals created
\nIn innocence and prose<\/p>\n
Mansukh Mandaviya
\nHas stopped all exports he
\nSays that animal rights
\nTurned on his lights
\nAnd he could see
\nThe evil and the cruelty
\nThe torment and the pain
\nAnd this was not what India
\nSupports never again<\/p>\n
Clearly a new age sage he be
\nA statesman in the now
\nLearned in so many ways
\nA shining light on how
\nThe empathy of being
\nCreative in a way
\nResourceful and imaginative
\nWith the clarity of day<\/p>\n
If India can do it
\nWhat of the great UK
\nShipping out of Ramsgate
\nAnd Australia too
\nThey pay
\nTerribly from the torture
\nAnd are being sent to die
\nIt under values life itself
\nAnd is Another reason why<\/p>\n
Compassion for all creatures
\nMust take centre stage
\nWe have mental agility
\nOur brains we must engage
\nIts no forgone conclusion
\nThat animals who must die
\nwe must first resort to torture them
\nAnd beat them until they cry<\/p>\n
