From wildness and abundance
\nIn the wilderness of cause
\nAncestral shadows flourish
\nAnd to some a diapause
\nA wistful inclination
\nOf the enemy abroad
\nWhose arrogance and ignorance
\nWe battle to afford<\/p>\n
As size goes we are
\nTruly a dominating force
\nIt must be said
\nWhether a great elephant
\nOr a blue whale
\nwe are led
\nDown a path of respectfulness
\nThe ambitions of those who
\nAre smaller yet are powerful
\nIn what they tend to do<\/p>\n
We have heritage and posterity
\nAnd instinctive memory
\nWe have great power and commitment
\nAnd a longer family tree
\nThe fraility of humans
\nThey are savages in soul
\nUnlike the aboriginies
\nWho have built up a control<\/p>\n
Born into a natural space
\nOur wildness we attain
\nWe are tuned into the vital signs
\nWe respect the wind and rain
\nWe respect our only mother
\nThe goddess of the sky
\nThe land the vast expression
\nWhich is really why<\/p>\n
Being tortured in a cage
\nOr harpooned we can see
\nThat though they walk on two legs
\nCatching up they be
\nThey may have their computers
\nBut compared to us they be
\nStill back in the ages dark
\nTheir insensibility<\/p>\n
Their obtuseness we can feel it
\nTheir mortality
\nIs basic in the scheme of things
\nThey have lost it actually
\nTheir intelligence is mechanical
\nTrapped inside their head
\nTheir fidelity and their veracity
\nIs in essence dead<\/p>\n
We could lift our foot and crush
\nThem
\nWe could swish our massive tail
\nWe could overturn their ships
\nAnd surely they would fail
\nTheir mendacity is prevalent
\nThey deceive themselves infact
\nImagining they have dominion
\nBecause of how we react<\/p>\n
They live with immoderation
\nDisproportion is their thing
\nWe have always been their teachers
\nTrying hard to bring
\nSome sanity to arguments
\nBut perversion is their stance
\nBy torturing the giants
\nThey imagine we will dance<\/p>\n
To their tune and all be happy
\nWe are sad because we know
\nTo create a life is wonderful
\nTo destroy it stems all flow
\nOf emotion and responsiveness
\nOf benevolence and care
\nOf love for one another
\nAnd the ability to share<\/p>\n
This planet and its offerings
\nIts economy of scale
\nOur stewardship the resources
\nThe ancestors couldnt fail
\nTo prepare the greenest forests
\nThe bluest seas and we
\nThe elephants and the great whale forms
