\nWhale mothers
\nLove their offspring so
\nThey have such understanding
\nResponsive to the flow
\nEffusiveness and empathy
\nThey hold in high regard
\nAnd when an infant dies alas
\nA mother then will guard<\/p>\n
Her infant she will keep him
\nBy her
\nEvery single day
\nShes emotional about him
\nIn every single way
\nA joyfulness abounds in her
\nShe will not let him go
\nShe will carry him
\nTill he rots away
\nAs evidence of her woe<\/p>\n
Off of Vancouver Island
\nA mother has been seen
\nFor 17 days she has carried
\nHer baby long and lean
\nDecomposing rapidly
\nBut a mothers love is there
\nAnd death is hard to contemplate
\nAnd the grieving she must share<\/p>\n
These are the true animals
\nWe are killing every day
\nJapan Iceland and Norway
\nThink they can get away
\nWith slaughtering the sentient
\nWhen those peoples are much less
\nThoughtful about each other
\nAnd, create so much stress<\/p>\n
Amongst the wild cetaceans
\nHarpooning them each day
\nJapan is out there
\nIceland too
\nAnd, we have to say
\nAs tourists they are blacklisted
\nThose three countries we
\nWill never visit until they stop
